Someone just asked me what’s the difference between a disciple and an apostle. I know a disciple is like a student?

Hi! I think from my understanding an apostle is some one who is on a mission, like those who participated in the great commission (Matthew 28)

From what I was taught, Disciples are those who followers while Apostles are those who those who carry out of messengers that peach 🙂

@jayquan that makes sense! when I think about the apostles I think about all the work they carried out to spread the gospel

I always got confused with this but i always thought of it like a student and a teacher? Disciple is still a student and an Apostle is like a missionary and can already teach others. Is that correct? 🤔
