Hello !
I sometimes talk to, or read online from people (especially atheists) who deny that some events in the OT actually happened (the flood, the Exodus, etc.). They find the stories too mythical and cannot admit that a book that is thousands of years old can actually be accurate.
How do you usually reason with people like that ? Do you have any tips/ressources that are helpful ?
I’ve encountered that too. But if we need to see physical evidence for everything , that’s not really faith. And I think what’s more important is understanding what God is trying to convey those events. In the New Testament, Jesus and the apostles referenced the Old Testament sometimes, so I believe there’s much more we can learn by looking at the Bible as a whole.
