I feel what I lack in faith is consistency. Whenever I go to a retreat or church, I feel strengthened, but when Im by myself I have a tendency to fall away from my faith. How can I be more consistent?

I know how you feel. Besides just going to church once a week, I also set reminders for myself to pray and read some verses every night before I go to bed

I've experienced this myself. We used to call them "spiritual highs", but I don't know what to make of them anymore.

I experience this a lot too! I'm not sure why it happens, I figured at some point that it might just be that way. If anyone has any tips on what can help to not experience that so much, I would really appreciate that 🙂

@robinb19 Well there is always room for growth! Maybe this can be a year to focus on that. It's definitely an area I would like to focus on 😊

@colorslinesandspace That’s true and it’s sounds really bad. Hopefully we can all do better this year.

I agree with praying and reading the Bible regularly. I also try to keep the two greatest commandments in the back of my mind: Love God and your neighbor as yourself [paraphrased]. It has helped me in my life of faith.

Any advice out there on how to build the habit of consistency? I get daunted by not having any set plans 🙁
