Hello everyone! With the start of a new year looming, I'm currently preparing for my never-ending New Year's resolution of wanting to read the entire Bible. Has anyone ever been successful in doing this? Any tips? 🙂
Sadly I haven't, I know many people like using the yearly Bibles. But I still find them really hard time to keep up.Â
Thank you for posting this! This is a great determination. I haven't read the whole Bible, but keep to learn some tips especially when it comes to reading the Old Testament because I struggle to continue and finish what I started..
That was my goal in 2020 but I wasn't able to do it. I hope to do it for this upcoming year and would also like to learn some tips for those who have already read the Bible from beginning to end.Â
I'm struggling to keep this resolution as well. I think part of it is because it's hard to understand what I read. So I get discouraged to continue to read.
Tbh I haven't been successful so I'll appreciate the tips as well 😅
Hello! I have found that reading from beginning to end is a lot harder! Rather, what has helped me is making connections from different parts of the Bile. There are some small groups I have joined that have helped and we review passages from throughout the OT and NT! Will message you 🙂Â
I think making sure you have accountability like doing it together with another person always helps!
I have a friend who completed a bible reading plan that covered Genesis through Revelation. Instead of reading in order of the books from beginning to end, he read a bit of both Old and New Testament everyday.
