I have KJV but the language is so hard to read. I don't have much knowledge with the other versions (I've used KJV my entire life). Can someone share thoughts on what other versions are okay for reading?

I typically like to use the NIV/NKJV. If I have trouble reading one, I'll go to the other. The other one I've seen used a alot is the ESV

I have a NIV bible! I used to have NKJV but I have found NIV to be easier to read. 🙂

In my experience with the Catholic Church we use either the RSV or NAB. Does anyone know if it is accurate?

Used to use NIV as a kid and used ESV when I went to Bible College but have been recently using both NIV and NKJ recently

NKJV might be a simpler version of what you already read 🙂

@jayquan In my experience, the Catholic Church includes additional books that aren't in the original compilation of the Bible. i would try reading the original versions first 🙂

Before I decided to get the NIV, I flipped through the KJV/NKJV and I found it hard to follow. So I went with NIV. I'm curious about the ESV though, some friends have told me they use it too.
